Association of University Libraries of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, on April 24-26 of this year at the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Narxoz University and Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi held the XII international conference “Modern world trends in the development of university libraries” and a training seminar of AVD-Kazakhstan LLP "at KazNU named after Al-Farabi “IRBIS School for University Libraries” where our employee Gulmira Janbayeva took part.

During the conference, trends in the development of modern university libraries and information and library support for higher education and science, modern software and hardware solutions for ensuring the quality of services provided by university libraries, information resources of university libraries: experience and prospects for their development of formation and promotion in the academic environment were considered universities raised and resolved issues of modern priorities and trends in the formation and modernization of the library space.
