On June 6, 2024, the university, together with the Faculty of Philology, held a literary evening dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian poet A.S. Pushkin.
A.S. Pushkin is the founder of the modern Russian literary language. Pushkin's contribution to literature and culture is enormous. His works significantly enriched the Russian language and Russian culture in general.
The purpose of the event is to familiarize the younger generation with the work of the poet and writer. This event was attended by the teaching staff of Russian philology, staff of the scientific library and fourth-year students and students of the RYALSH-12 group.Quizzes were held among the students; Sabina Sharkhan, Ermekova Anara, Tabyldieva Indira, Sadykov Abylay, Zhazykova Sabina, Karzhaubaeva Aedina read by heart the works of A.S. Pushkin. At the end of the literary evening there was a laying of fresh flowers at the poet’s monument. On behalf of the scientific library, we express special gratitude to teacher A.S. Kriul and students of the Faculty of Philology for jointly organizing and holding this literary evening.
