On November 15, on the occasion of the National Currency Day, an event entitled "Tenge - the pillar of independence" was organized by active students of the Scientific Library and Natural Sciences Faculty.
The purpose of the event was to explain to the future young generation the history of the introduction of the tenge into circulation.
During the opening of the event, Maksot Abdulkarim, a student of chemistry group 11, performed the song "Koroglu", and then the Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Kusainov Rakhmetolla Kusainov made a special speech, promoting the history of the first money, coins issued for various dates (55 years of the Great Victory, 60 years of the Great Victory, the national game "Kokpar", "Besikke salu", dedicated to public figures, poets and writers M. Gabdullin, G. Mustafin, Zh. Zhabayev, Al-Farabi, Makhambet, Yu. Gagarin, I. Yesenberlin, M. Auezov). The speaker told about the history of the introduction of our tenge into circulation. The students were presented with their own numismatic relics, old banknotes and coins from different years, which they had collected since the advent of the tenge.
At the end of the evening, Ruslanovna Asem, a student of the chemistry group 17, sang the song "Atameken", and the students enjoyed seeing the preserved banknotes and coins. The evening was very impressive.
