A round table discussion dedicated to the new book by Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, “Әділетті қоғамға – шыншыл сөз” (“A Fair Society – A Sincere Word”), was held in the West Kazakhstan region.

Scientists and staff of WKU named after M. Utemisov took part in the discussion. They highlighted the Head of State’s positions on historical processes and emphasized how the book’s insights connect with Kazakhstan's socio-political development.

The book covers such pressing topics as national development, national interests, historical consciousness, law and order, public dialogue, and civic responsibility.

Following the round table, copies of the book were presented to the libraries of educational organizations in the region. The book has also enriched the collection of the WKU Library.

For the university, such publications are more than just a replenishment of the library collection—they are an important source of knowledge that provides an opportunity to discuss history, current social processes, and the country's development vector.
