On April 29, 2025, a patriotic event "Tribute to Valor" was held in the reading room of the Faculty of History, Economics and Law of the Scientific Library, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1945) and the 115th anniversary of the birth of the writer, Hero of the Soviet Union Bauyrzhan Momyshuly (1910-1982).

The festive event is dedicated to the souls of our grandfathers and sisters who died in the Great Patriotic War, the soldiers and officers who are forever young and remembered in our memory, the veterans who died in peacetime, and the veterans of the Great Patriotic War who are among us today.

The guests of the evening were Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Baibulsinova Alfiya Sabyrgalikyzy, Head of the M. Mametova Memorial Museum of the West Kazakhstan Regional Museum of History and Local Lore, local historian Batyrkhanov Akhmediyar Kuanuly, Uralsk city B. The director of the Momyshuly ✓46 ZHOBB school, historian-researcher Satdykova Ibagul Narimanovna took the floor and sent her wishes for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.

Kozhak, KYAL A-21 group student Amangalieva Nurayna “I heard your name”, Oryngali Ulbolsyn KTA -11 Zharasbai Nurkan “Eternal youth” (to Manshuk), Esbulat Ainara XB-11 group “Monologue of Manshuk”, Murzagali Madina XB-11 group Lukpan Sisekenuly “To the spirit of the heroes”, Kylyshbai Shattyk MiDK -11 “Eternal youth”, Kubai Aida DiZi -11, Gabdullov Raiymbek recited verses dedicated to the Great Victory.

Students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography gave the audience a festive mood with the dance "An salshy sarbazym" and the song "Alga, Kazakh boys", the lyrics and music of which were written by Yerzhan Serikbayev, Orazbay Zhadyra and Safina Nadezhda.

At the end of the evening, librarian Gulmira Shaydullovna conducted a bibliographic review of the book exhibition. The evening was very impressive.
