On April 23, in honor of National Book Day and Librarian's Day, a meaningful and atmospheric event titled "Library Night" was held.
The primary goal of this cultural and educational evening was to foster a love for reading among young people and to provide an enriching environment for their leisure time.
During the event, students shared their literary impressions at the "My Favorite Book" corner and participated in engaging quizzes and intellectual games. Participants showed great enthusiasm while completing various quest tasks.
The event featured distinguished guests who conducted professional masterclasses:
Mels Taskalievich Otarov, Senior Lecturer and Member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, along with Senior Lecturer Askhat Bekkalievich, presented a linocut masterclass featuring a composition dedicated to traditional poetry.
Nargiza Bolatzhankyzy, a teacher of Kazakh language and literature at the "Akbota" Kindergarten No. 15, and Pedagogical Assistant Dinara Daiyrovna Sakipova shared their expertise with the students.
The evening was further brightened by musical performances:
Students of the KTYa-IR-13 group, Aigerim Izturganova and Ayazhan Kadyrgali, performed a lively medley.
Gulkhan Nygmetolla (group TMI-21) performed a traditional terme of Sypyra Zhyrau, and Aknur Satybaldy performed the song "Zhaqsy Adamdarym."
At the conclusion of the evening, Toty Erkinkyzy, the Head of the Scientific Library, expressed her gratitude to the students and guests. She emphasized that "Library Night" is not only an invitation to read but also a vital cultural space that helps unlock students' creative potential, strengthens friendships, and promotes spiritual development.
The library is the heart of knowledge and culture! Let us stay together with books. Happy holidays!
