On October 30, 2024, an event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Soviet sniper, corporal, Hero of the Soviet Union Aliya Moldagulova, entitled "Aliya erligi oshpes tarikh", was held in the reading room of history, economics and law.
The purpose of the event was to foster love for the Motherland in young people, to instill feelings of patriotism and protection of their country, and also to tell about the heroism and courage of the heroine.
The event began with a viewing of the scene, which showed the moment when Aliya Moldagulova asked to go to the front. The opening remarks were made by Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Boranbaeva Baktyly Sansyzbaykyzy and Candidate of Historical Sciences Baybulsinova Alfiya Sabyrgaliyevna, who spoke about the heroism of Aliya Moldagulova.
Students from the faculties of history, economics, law and geography actively participated in the event. They performed poems in memory of the heroine: “Menin halkym” - Alimbetkyzy Aykorkem gr. MO-12, “Ozhetter ani” - Kayrgaliev Nuraidar gr. MO-11, “Kazakhtyn batyr kyzy aliya” - Anvar Dauren gr. F-11, “Aliya” - Nurbolat Ernat, Kurmetkaliev Dulat gr. East 41.
During the event, a video about the heroine was shown, and the anthem of her courage was performed - the song “Aliya”, which became a symbol of her feat, the authors of which were B. Tazhibaev and S. Baiterekov. Student of the Ist-41 group Magaz Bekzat performed this song.
An audio recording of a letter that Aliya Moldagulova wrote to her sister Sapura was also listened to. Student of the Ist-31 group Turarbek Aimyrza performed the composition "Konil tolkyny" on the dombra, which touched the audience.
At the end of the event, librarian Gulmira Shaidullovna introduced those present to a book exhibition dedicated to the life and feat of Aliya Moldagulova. The event ended with a speech by the head of the department for providing readers' requests of the scientific library Sadap Suyesinkyzy, who expressed gratitude to all the participants.
The name of the Kazakh sniper, who became a legend, is immortalized in the names of streets in Kazakhstan and Russia, and monuments have been erected in her honor. The feat of the 18-year-old Kazakh girl, who gave her life on the battlefield, will forever remain in the memory of our people. The event was very touching and left a deep impression.
