November 13, 2024. On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the birth of the poet, people's writer, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and prominent public figure Fariza Ongarsynova, a literary and musical evening entitled "The Queen of Poetry - Fariza" was organized.

Students and teaching staff of the faculties of philology, history, economics and law, physics and mathematics, pedagogy, culture and art participated in the event.

The purpose of the evening: to widely promote the life and work of the poet Fariza Ongarsynova among young people. The event began with a video dedicated to the poet's life.

Professor of the BKU, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Mutiev Zeynolla Zhaksylykuly spoke in more detail about the poet's work and shared valuable and interesting memories of the poet with students.

Gradually, the poet's poems were read by Amangali Aruzhan, a 1st year student of the Kazakh Language and Literature and English Department, "The Monologue of an Orphan", Kosaev Turganbek, a student of the Primary School Pimno/u-33, "Kushtarlyk", Turkebayeva Mahabbat, "You are happy for me, you are sad", Serik Aziza, "Dalamdy sirlasu", with an impressive melody. The song "Auylymdy sagyndym" written by Fariza Ongarsynova was presented to the audience with a beautiful voice by Kuspan Sulu, a 1st year student of the Kazakh Language and Literature and English Department. During the event, interesting questions were asked about the poet, and readers actively answered and shared their impressions.

At the end of the evening, librarian Tarzhmanova Gulsara Kenzhaevna conducted a bibliographic review of the book exhibition "The Queen of Poetry - Fariza" dedicated to the poet's work.

The poems of Fariza Ongarsynova, a poet of courage and high spirit, with a tone of dignity and nobility, a broad worldview, rich poetic colors, and a strong and steadfast poet, have been passed down from generation to generation.
