Our regular reader, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Baktyly Sansyzbaykyzy Boranbayeva, has contributed her work to the Scientific Library Fund.

In this monograph, the subject of the republican internal deportation of the population of the Orda district of the West Kazakhstan region, which was turned into a military training ground in 1952, is taken as the subject of conceptual research based on the data of the West Kazakhstan, Turkestan regional and Zhetysai regional state archives. The author, using archival documents and the methods of "oral history", created a broad panorama of the socio-economic, moral-psychological crisis and the pitiful fate of the autochthonous (local) Kazakh people who were forcibly relocated. 

The book is intended for undergraduates of higher educational institutions studying in the humanities, students, teachers of colleges and general secondary schools, and the general reader.
