On November 15, 2025, on the occasion of the National Currency Day, the scientific library and the senior lecturer of the Business, Management and Tourism Department Mustafina Aigul Salykhovna jointly organized an event entitled “Tenge-the Pillar of Independence”.

The event was attended by 2nd-year students of the “Economics and Management” and “Finance” educational programs. The event began with watching a video on the topic “Our Currency”. During the event, students of the EiM-21, F-21 groups A. A. Lazarova, A. N, Zhdan B. M, Zhusipbergenova, Sh. O. Nurseit, A. A. Kuzhantay spoke in detail about the history of the national tenge entering circulation, where the tenge of Kazakhstan was minted, the foreign exchange market and the tenge exchange rate, facts about the tenge, the organization of the world currency system, the features of the creation of our national currency, and the meaning of the depicted images. At the same time, the students shared their key thoughts on the national currency - tenge. Senior lecturer Aigul Salykhovna shared information about the history of our native tenge.

At the end of the event, librarian A.D. Nursafina expressed her gratitude to the students, conducted a bibliographic review of the book exhibition "Tenge - the Basis of Independence" and introduced them to the literature.
