On November 2, the Zhuban Moldagaliyev Regional Central Universal Scientific Library and the M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University Scientific Library jointly held a literary evening dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Thomas Mann as part of the “Biblio Tour” project.

During the event, a stage performance based on T. Mann’s work “Magic Mountain” was staged, and a video dedicated to the writer’s life and work was presented.

Students actively participated in the stage performance prepared by Shunaibekova Klzhiyan Mendygaliqi, a senior lecturer of the educational program “Training of Teachers of Foreign Languages ​​and Literature” of the Faculty of Philology of M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University, and the event was held at a high level.

A book exhibition entitled “Thomas Mann’s Magic Word” was also organized. The event was attended by representatives of the regional representative office in Uralsk, the Public Foundation of the Association of Germans in Kazakhstan, teachers and students of the M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University, as well as students of the Zh. Dosmukhamedov Higher Pedagogical College and the Ural Humanitarian and Technical College.
