February 5, 2026. In honor of the 95th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding poet Mukagali Makatayev, the Scientific Library, together with students from the "Preschool Education" (Do-11), "Primary Education" (NO-11), "Kazakh Language and Literature" (IP) (11/3), and "Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages" (Iya-39) groups, organized a literary and musical evening entitled "The Heart Sings."

The goal of the literary and musical evening was to popularize the life and work of the poet, who left a vivid and unforgettable mark on the history of Kazakh literature. The event began with a short video dedicated to the life and work of the great poet Mukagali Makatayev.

Professor Rita Bekzhanovna discussed in detail the poet's life and creative legacy, emphasizing his rich spiritual legacy left to future generations.

Then came heartfelt readings of the poet's poems: student of the КТӘ (IP) 11/3 group G. Islyamova - "Goodbye, Life", Zh. Salimova - "I Don't Regret", student of the КТӘ (IP)-21 group U. Oryngali - "You Say There's No Light in Your Eyes...", student of the Primary Education group BBB-11 A. Makhsotova - "My Three Happinesses", A. Amanzholova - "Dreaming That It Will Be So...", student of the Yur-11 group Sovetuly Abdrakhman - "Hey, Life", Zhaқыптегі Ернар, КТӘ (IP)-11(3) - "On the Street", Zh. Askarov - "What Came and What Left This World", A. Rakymgali, NO-11 - "Mom, You Are the Happiest".

Furthermore, first-year vocal arts student A. Baidauletov performed songs based on the poet's poems - "Crimson Autumn," "Your Eyes," and "Happiness Is..." - impressing the audience with his soft, velvety voice.

At the conclusion of the evening, librarian Zhansaule Kaidarova presented a bibliographic review of the book exhibition entitled "I Came to Sing the Praise of Life."

Students from various faculties, faculty members F. Erbolatkyzy, G. Tlepbergenova, and D. Navekova, as well as library staff, participated in the event.

Mukagali's poetry is unmistakable. Over the years, his image has become increasingly majestic and significant. Rightfully bearing the title of "poet of the century," Mukagali Makatayev continues to live in his poetry-year after year, century after century.

Mukagali is eternal life.
He is an immortal spiritual legacy, a priceless and sacred treasure for us all.
